Mina. Specialist in Bellydance and Persian Dance - Belly Dancer Orange County

Mina, one of Southern California's most sought after Bellydance artists, formed her dance roots in Armenian folk dance and ballet at the age of eight. Her Persian-Armenian mother ensured that Mina was immersed in the family culture with language lessons in Armenian and Farsi, education in top Armenian private schools and dance instruction. This early dance foundation provided her with the skill in movement and expression that has been expertly applied to her more recent passion for Middle Eastern dance with an emphasis upon Bellydance and Persian dance performance.

Mina has traveled the world to study and perform these exquisite dances. She has studied under master artists such as Angelika Nemeth, Robyn Friend, Anna Djanbazian, Jillina and Orit Maftsir. In 2008, Mina was the invited US competitor in the 1st World Bellydance Competition in Seoul, Korea. As a member of the Angelika Nemeth Dance Ensemble since 2004, Mina trains and rehearses constantly to maintain the level of professionalism for which the troupe is known. The Ensemble performs internationally year round at festivals, events and parties.

In all of her performances Mina harnesses her intense passion for dance with her energetic, dramatic and enrapturing style which she believes expresses her love for her audience.

Mina offers various bellydancer performance packages ranging from 10 to 60 minutes depending on the needs of the client. Mina can perform solo or provide additional dancers, involve the audience, or pay special attention to certain people in the audience. All performances are tailored to your needs to provide an exciting show.
