Hi, Everyone,

We have a lot of planetary action this August, so get prepared. We begin the month on Friday, August 1st with a , Solar Total Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo at 6:22 AM EDT. We also have a Lunar Partial Eclipse at 24 degrees of Aquarius on August 16th,2008 at 5:10 pm EDT. Eclipses impact everyone; but, the signs which will be most significantly impacted are Leo and Aquarius. Not to mention, the other fixed signs: Taurus and Scorpio.

In February, we had our last series of eclipses in Virgo/Pisces with a Total Lunar Eclipse on February 20th. We also began a completely new series of eclipses in the signs of Aquarius and Leo on February 7, 2008, and this series will occur every 6 months through January 26,2010. As Virgos and Pisces can tell their successors -- Eclipses invoke much change in our lives. When eclipses occur in our sun signs, we experience monumental life occurances: Births, deaths, marriages, divorce, new relationships,new jobs, and loss of jobs,etc.

A Solar Eclipse eclipse occurs every 6 months, however a Total Solar Eclipse occurs every 2 years, and this one is an EXTRA powerful and special eclipse. A Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon stands between the Sun and the Earth, cutting off the light of the sun.

A Solar Eclipse is always a new moon, and Solar Eclipses tend to bring in new beginnings in people's lives. I've found in my study of Eclipses that both Solar and Lunar can be either endings or beginnings, or both at that same time, for that matter. However, I usually find that Solar Eclipses tend to bring in new people, new opportunities, and new relationships, especially, since it is in the sign of Leo, which rules romance.

As I'd mentioned, the Solar Eclipse is in the sign of Leo, which rules the heart, romance, vitality, creativity, and children. It also rules celebrity, so you might find even more celebrity scandals or big events connected with them than usual.

Because the Solar Eclipse is a very special New Moon, it is an excellent time to plant seeds, initiate projects, write a wish list and focus on things you want to actualize in your life.

Next, we have the Lunar Eclipse at 24 degrees of Aquarius on August 16th, 2008 at 5:10 PM EDT. A Lunar eclipse occurs approximately every 6 months, and it is an EXTRA powerful Full moon, so get ready for high emotions this month and hearing about a lot of relationship issues. The sign of Aquarius rules groups, humanitarianism, but also Astrology, technology, and the internet.

A lunar eclipse happens when the earth is between the sun and the moon, and the shadow of the Earth falls on the moon. Lots of wild things happen around lunar eclipses, and you might encounter a lot of "odd" people. Because it's in the sign of Aquarius, there could be issues with technology or the internet, so there could be lack of predictability with gadgets, computers, phones. One positive aspect about eclipses is sometimes they bring things to a head and bring resolution, so if there is a problem one is grappling with, this lunar eclipse could help to bring some closure in the matter.

Now is NOT the time to bring in heavy discussions in relationships or to force issues. Wait a bit for the eclipse energy to wane and let things unfold a bit. This craziness should settle down by the middle to end of September.
