The Exeter String Quartet - String Quartet San Francisco

The Exeter String Quartet has performed in a variety of venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including hotels, wineries, open spaces, private homes, and in places of worship.

The Quartet provides music for weddings and other special occasions, for corporate events, church services, benefits and fund-raisers, and plays the occasional concert. Its members come together with a mutual love for music and the joy of having others share that love. They are happy to suggest music of many styles for your special occasion.

The Exeter String Quartet was founded in 1983. These residents of Oakland are avid chamber music enthusiasts and are involved in a variety of professions: Christine was a middle manager and is a professional singer and actor; she serves as manager of the Quartet. Richard is President of Images Sales, Inc., a sales agent for photo identification equipment and supplies. Dorothy is the first grade teacher at Corpus Christi School in Piedmont and teaches string methods at Holy Names College, as well as privately. She is a Suzuki Master Teacher. Dan is a health care professional at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland.
